Motoke sighed, obviously bored... But who wouldn't be after 2 years of the same bullshit routine. The only difference every now and then was a new guy and a fight, it was somewhat of a treat, to have something mildly exciting happen. Then again it would always be broken up shortly after it all started, joy-killing guards. It had been a while since anything had broken out, Motoke was even wondering if to specifically set something off just because she found the scurrying of the guards boarder line amusing. Plus the fact she wanted to make their miserable lives as hard as possible, she had nothing better to do and nothing waiting for her on the outside so why the hell not? You only live once after all, some flying fists never killed anybody... Well... That might have been a lie but it was always a good idea when it started, never really when it finished.
She took a glance around the yard, there where very few people actually out at this time in a morning, some of them still looked as though they where asleep, or at least falling back to sleep against the walls or fences surrounding them. Motoke was sat on the top of a bench, feet placed where she should have been sitting in, taking in the morning air. She soon got bored of sitting doing nothing, she had nothing to mess around with, to keep he occupied and interested which just made the day go even slower, she tried looking around to see if there where anybody that looked as though they where ready to pick a fight, if so she was working up the right words to get them to actually act out, whether it be on her or another inmate that she made up some lie about to get their mental time bomb counting down. She really was a sly little minx sometimes, then again half the time it kept her alive, the other half of the time she received a black eye from her snappy little comments.

There wasn’t really anything to do. Elizabeth sat outside in the yard on the bleachers just watching everyone doing their things. She’d been doing a pretty good job of staying out of trouble, but that’s only because she wanted the perks that came along with good behavior. It was a strategy really and one that was working out for her rather well. If she didn’t cause problems with the guards then they didn’t cause problems with her. It was a win-win situation in her book, especially considering she was going to be there for a very long time.
Other people didn’t seem to have the same mentality as she did though. While she felt sorry for those because it usually meant time in solitary or some other kind of punishment, she found it entertaining to watch. The people who got caught up in those fights always became so passionate about it--as if their lives depended on it. Then again for many it did.
As Elizabeth scanned the area her eyes landed on one of the other inmates. She leaned back with her arms folded across her chest and kicked her feet out, crossing them at the ankles as she watched. Just by the look on the girl’s face she could tell that she was looking to start something. This would be a fun show to watch.

Motoke had began to look over the faces of the new people that had began to collect together as the time went on and people woke up. Even though right now half of the people wandering around still looks like they where asleep but that was just what it was like in prison. None of the faces in the crowds had stuck out to her, none of them had that look in their eye like if one word was said to them then they would flip a table and go on a complete rage. She guessed today was going to be a day where she actually had to do some work to get the shit flying, never mind... She would make it happen sooner of later just give her the time and the opportunity then hell it would happen. This was the queen bitch they where talking about, she didn't give up without a good god damn reason and even more than just that. She continued to scan the faces of the crowds... Making sure not to get caught by anybody because that would just mean that she would be in a load of shit and she wouldn't be able to laugh about it later either. Rule number one in prison, look but never stare.
Motoke's attention turned to a red head that was sat on her own looking directly in her direction, her eyes squinted as she tried to get a better look at her... She didn't seem all that familiar although Motoke never bothered to remember names and faces, and she thought she would have recognised that hair of hers it being bright red and all. She wondered if the woman had noticed her as she glanced over all of the prisoners there, or if she was just looking to start something herself, which Motoke would gladly entertain as she knew she could have this one easily. She did a slight nod of her head in the woman's direction, curious as to what she would reply with. Because that would pretty much decide Motoke's reaction to her, fight or flee, that was the good old question everybody wanted to know the answer to.

When the girl nodded towards her, Elizabeth looked around her to see who the girl might have been acknowledging. Upon seeing that she was the only on in her area, Elizabeth raised an eyebrow wondering if she’d just been called out. While she normally one to steer clear from fights, if only because she didn’t want to start any trouble, she would certainly defend herself if she needed to. It seemed like since she’d been in the prison everyone wanted to start something. She’d had to do a bit of defending so far and she liked to think she did a pretty good job of it. At least no one really seemed to mess with her anymore. In a place like this word seemed to get around fast.
Biting down on her tongue, Elizabeth wondered if she should acknowledge the girl back. She was on her guard now, her body tensing slightly as she sat up straight on the bleachers. Elizabeth was almost certain that it would end up in some sort of altercation, but at the same time she couldn’t push the thought that maybe the girl was doing it just to be nice. Either way, she felt that if she just ignored her that it would be a sign of weakness. Fight or no fight, Elizabeth wasn’t going to back down.
So she gave a nod in the girl’s direction.
